We stayed at this park last year and enjoyed it. The park has been sold and the sites are being sold as RV lots (for very high prices). Strange cars drove through daily-checking out the lots, most likely but it left us a bit uneasy. We were somewhat disappointed in the upkeep of the park this year and the pool was either closed or too cold and they advertise it as heated. The bushes between the park and the busy street have been trimmed way down so it was also much noisier. The manager got angry and yelled at us because we had trouble with the WiFi.

Road to the upper sites was tricky with a Big Rig but possible. You must unhook at the office. Park needs lots of work. Office staff pleasant but either we were overcharged for a back-in or the price was outrageous for this park. There are not many parks in this area and the drive to West Point was 45 minutes.

Pioneer RV Park is 3 miles from Super Walmart and Outlet Shopping but has the isolated desert atmosphere. Close to US17 but not noisy. Hot air balloons launch several times a week from the desert right next to park. Forty pull thrus but mostly a seasonal adult community. Monthly reservation age minimum is 42. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Many activities and very clean, friendly and quiet. A hidden treasure if you love the desert. Twenty minutes to Phoenix attractions.

This is a spotlessly clean, modern resort with a very cordial and helpful staff. A beautiful community room with a huge fireplace, tv, kitchen and even a trade a book library was decorated for fall. The spaces were wide enough for 3 slide-outs and we had no trouble at all maneuvering throughout the park. There is a shopping center close-by and a 12 mile drive on this same street takes you straight into downtown Denver. We have been fulltiming for over a year now and rate this resort very high on our list of favorites.

This campground would have to be on the interstate to be any closer and there is no barrier at all so it is extremely noisy night and day. Although close to the train station, the ride into the city took almost an hour because of all the stops and the fare is $7.40 per person round trip. There are stores close by. The beach isn't much more than a swimming hole and is open to the public for a fee. Gravel sites but needs landscaping. Office help very nice. Would not stay here again because of constant traffic noise.

Sites are very narrow on dirt or grass. Entire place, although clean enough, needs sprucing up. Staff not really friendly. Good spot for rv factory tours. Amish, Mennonite area so everything is closed on Sunday. Shipshewana has flea market and nice shops but is 20 miles from here and remember, everything is closed on Sunday.

Friendly, helpful staff, dirt sites, could use some landscaping. Recommended Whiskey Creek-just a few doors down-with a 10% discount coupon-excellent food! Would stay here again.

Close to interstate but quiet, very clean, well landscaped, could not get satellite signal and only 3 local stations, many seasonal campers in separate section mostly but nicely cared for sites. Passport America. Would definitely stay again.

Dirt sites-old picnic tables-many seasonal trailers- unattractive-okay for overnight-not worth the money-would look for something else next time.

We didn't stay at this campground to learn much about it-our worst experience ever. The ad says easy on and off Interstate but does not mention the dirt road that leads you over a very unstable looking bridge (we never should have chanced it) into what resembles someone's abandoned back yard. Abandoned was true-not a soul around or a sign saying to pick a site. The steps leading up to the office had plants on them to block anyone from getting into the office. We left a message on their voice mail and while we waited for a return call, we decided to vacate the premises. Later our call was apologetically returned by a woman who had been at a library meeting who assured us she does not do business this way. Yes, we had a reservation but you can bet we will never make another one at this nightmare place.

Brand new park. Huge sites(30x70) that include cement patio/furniture, extra parking space, many plantings, and sod grass. Hard packed roadways and sites. Pleasant, helpful staff. Right on Rt. 219 but no traffic noise. Short 15 min. drive to safe, clean, downtown Montgomery and all its history.

This park should be a 10 not a 5. The setting is so serene with deer (we saw 3 together), rabbits, etc. There are boat launches, swimming areas, trails and an injured animal rehab center. Unfortunately, the park has not been kept up. The pavillions and bath houses were rotting away, and the washers and dryers were covered with rust. No one seems to be working too much either. The fellow riding the lawn mower didn't move the picnic table(which by the way was too warped to use) to do a proper job and the mower kept hitting rocks, one of which struck our MH. All the bushes needed trimming and if I had a rake, I would've cleared the leaves and debris off my site myself. I heard the state will be renovating this park...I hope so...this is a sin!

Very well managed, family-owned park. Spotless laundry, etc... and nicely maintained landscaping. Quiet, yet convenient to all attractions. Would be a 10 except we were in the pull thru section where there is no shade and it got very hot. Other sites have nice shade.

Unbelieveable park! New private showers, beautiful grounds and views. Onsite store-fully stocked with reasonable prices, gift shop and onsite restaurant. Hayrides and creatively themed weekends. Fire rings. There were mostly young families here-we are retirees-but with so many activities for the children, you hardly know they are here. Park taken over 2 years ago by energetic couple who know what we like. Prices range from 23 to 51 dollars- higher than we usually pay, but worth it.

Very close to busy highway with no fence for protection or noise control. So noisy that we could not hear TV or sleep. Laundry needs updating and cleaning. Owner nice but not always available. Dire need of landscaping and good clean up.

One of my favorites. All new, immaculate, big sites, vary helpful, friendly staff, private showers, swap library, complimentary breakfast with the best waffles ever. Beautiful landscaping. Right off I-10 yet quiet. Passport America won't last long here. Have been twice and will return.

Stay Away. Office smells like dog grooming parlor. Grungy laundry on honor system - leave dollar in cup. Nearest supermarket is 7 miles and 20 miles to Wal-mart. Mostly long term fifth wheels with low class residents and I'm no snob. Beach is short walk-clean, beautiful, fishing jetty but not enough to get me here again.

Beautiful tall, trimmed pines. Quiet, yet convenient to I-10 and I-59. After having been closed for 3 years, new owners have made unbelievable improvements-new all tiled showers, some cement pads, gorgeous welcome center with hardwood flooring, big screen TV and cafe, porch with wooden gliders overlooking olympic size pool. Staff guides you into very large sites and are very helpful and friendly. Don't miss this one!
